COLLIER COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — A Naples man is dead after driving his motorcycle off a roadway Sunday in east Collier County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The 60-year-old was driving a motorcycle east on Oil Well Road at 2:51 p.m. when he approached a curve near Pringle Lane. The motorcycle left the pavement and flipped onto a grass shoulder.
He was taken to North Collier Hospital and later pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
Any witnesses are asked to call Florida Highway Patrol at 239-938-1900.
