POLK COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Matthew Gnas, of Winter Haven, Florida, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday night motorcycle crash in Polk County.
Gnas, 25, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Lake Wales Monday night.
According to reports, Gnas was operating a Honda motorcycle in the area of 520 Mountain Lake Cutoff Rd in Lake Wales, when for unknown reasons, he rear-ended a Mazda 6, operated by 32-year-old Austin Gladney, of Lake Wales.
Gnas, originally from Slatington, Pennsylvania, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
