TYLER COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Jonathan Collins, of Warren, Texas, and Ramanda Parker of Village Milles, Texas, have been identified as the victims in a Tuesday night vehicle crash in Tyler County.
Collins, 29, and parker, 49, were both killed in a two-vehicle crash near the Hardin-Tyler County line Tuesday night.
According to reports, Collins was operating a Chevy pickup truck on US-69 near the Hardin-Tyler County line, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a Dodge passenger vehicle, operated by Parker.
Both Parker and Collins were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
