JAMES CITY COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Raymond Eveland, of Toano, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle crash in James City County.
Eveland, 21, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Williamsburg Wednesday night.
According to reports, Eveland was operating a Toyota Tacoma in the 4600 block of Rochambeau Drive near Cloverleaf Lane in Williamsburg, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a tree stump.
Eveland, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
