WASHINGTON COUNTY, AR. (THECOUNT) — Marcus Brandon Trollinger, of Springdale, Arkansas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tuesday afternoon crash in Washington County.
Trollinger, 46, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Lowell Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, Trollinger was operating a GMC Yukon on I-49 near Lowell, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2:3 0 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then made contact with a bridge barrier and burst into flames.
Trollinger was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt and thermal injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
