PORTER COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Aaron Heffron of, Westville, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday motorcycle crash in Porter County.
Heffron, 27, was killed in a single-motorcycle crash near Munster on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Heffron was operating a motorcycle in the 300 block of US-6 near Munster, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 8 a.m. Wednesday. The motorcycle then made contact with a substantial tree.
Heffron, who was ejected from the bike during the collision, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
