Eminem Ex Kim Scott Arrested Wednesday DUI Crash, Second Time This Year..

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI. (THECOUNT) — Kim Scott, the former wife of rapper Eminem, was arrested Wednesday night in Macomb County on suspicion of driving under the influence following another alleged crash involving a parked vehicle, according to reports.

Authorities said the incident occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 21 Mile Road area near Detroit.

According to Chesterfield Township police, Scott allegedly struck a parked vehicle during the incident.

No injuries were reported.

Police have not publicly stated where Scott was traveling to or from prior to the collision.

Scott was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens on a suspected DUI charge, according to reports citing Chesterfield Township Police Detective Sergeant Joseph Feld Scott.

Records indicate Scott was booked into jail early Thursday morning and later released.

The latest arrest comes only days after Scott appeared in court in connection with a separate February crash case.

Earlier this week, Scott reportedly entered no contest pleas to misdemeanor impaired driving and failure to report an accident charges stemming from a previous collision involving a parked vehicle.

According to reports, the earlier incident occurred while Scott was taking her son, Parker, and several of his friends shopping.

Authorities alleged Scott struck a parked vehicle on her residential street and then drove away from the scene.

Investigators said she later crashed into her garage door after returning home.

Scott was transported to a hospital following that incident for treatment of injuries.

Body camera footage connected to the February crash reportedly showed Scott participating in a breathalyzer test during the investigation.

Police also allegedly discovered bottles containing soda mixed with liquor inside the vehicle involved in the earlier crash.

Scott’s sentencing in the February impaired driving case is reportedly scheduled for June.

Authorities have not publicly stated whether the newest arrest could impact those proceedings.

Scott was previously married to Eminem, whose legal name is Marshall Mathers.

The couple married in 1999 and divorced in 2001 before briefly remarrying in 2006.

They share daughter Hailie Jade Mathers.

Law enforcement officials have not released additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding Wednesday night’s alleged DUI incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
