CALEDONIA COUNTY, VT. (THECOUNT) — Tristan Coderre, of Newport, Vermont, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday afternoon single-vehicle crash in Caledonia County.
Coderre, 20, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Wheelock on Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, Coderre was operating a vehicle on VT-16 near Horse Pond Road in Wheelock, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then traveled down and embankment before making contact with a substantial tree near the boat ramp.
Coderre was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
