LAWRENCE, IN. (THECOUNT) — Karen Glass, the Lawrence, Indiana woman with dementia who was reported missing Wednesday night, has been found dead, according to reports.
The body of Glass, 74, was recovered from a pond about half a mile from where she resides.
Lawrence police began searching for Glass early Thursday morning.
Police say Glass was last seen around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night crossing 79th Street on the city’s northeast side and was almost hit by a car, reports WTHR.
The Lawrence Police Department, Lawrence Fire Department, Indianapolis Metro Police Department and Indianapolis Fire Department all assisted in the search near 79th Street and Oaklandon Road.
Glass was last seen wearing cream-colored pajamas.
A cause of death was not yet provided.
The case is ongoing.
