ELKHART COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — David Hartzler, of Millersburg, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash on US 33 Wednesday evening, according to local reports.
“Dave” Hartzler, 54, was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Lincoln Hwy near CR-146 on Wednesday evening around 5:45 p.m.
Hartzler sustained fatal injuries, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.
It is unclear if he died at the scene or if he was transported to an area hospital where he later passed away.
The drivers of the two other cars were treated for their injuries at the scene, reports ABC57.
According to police, no citations were issued.
The crash remains under investigation.
