AL Crime Stoppers Announces $25K Cash Reward For Info On Missing Birmingham Girl Kamille ‘Cupcake’ McKinney

BIRMINGHAM, AL. (THECOUNT) — Crime Stoppers of Alabama announced on Wednesday in a news conference with Birmingham police, that they are offering a $19,000 cash reward for credible information leading to the location of Kamille ‘Cupcake’ McKinney.

You can call Crime Stoppers and anonymously leave a tip if you know her whereabouts 205-254-7777.

The $19,000 reward is in addition to the $6,000 reward being offered by Gov. Kay Ivey’s office for a total $25,000 reward if “Cupcake” McKinney is found, reports ABC3340.

It’s already been a long day in the frantic search for little Cupcake.

After reporting to the press that little the girl had been located alive, at 1:06 p.m. Jefferson County Sheriff’s office told reporters he had received “misinformation” from one of his deputies in the field.

At 12:50 p.m., Jefferson County Sheriff Mark Pettway said Cupcake had been found alive was being “checked by medical personnel.” But 15 minutes later, Pettway was forced to admit to receiving bad information.

A twitter user claimed Wednesday that the field deputy found a child, however, it was not Cupcake:

We have not independently confirmed that claim.

The State of Alabama had issued the Amber Alert for the 3-year-old who was abducted last Saturday at a birthday party in Alabama. She was and is still missing and believed to be in “extreme danger.”

McKinney was last seen at the Tom Brown Village housing community in Avondale, Alabama around 8:30 p.m. at a birthday party and, according to witnesses, was picked up by an unknown man and woman in a dark-colored black or blue SUV.

Tom Brown Village is located at, 5th Court North in Birmingham, AL.

The SUV was possibly an older model Toyota 4Runner with rims and a tan protruding bumper.

Kamille is described as a black female, 3 feet tall weighing 60 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

She was seen last wearing a pink T-shirt with Minnie Mouse leopard print design, leopard print shorts and yellow, white, and blue hair bows.

Anyone with information regarding this missing child, should contact the Birmingham Police Department at 205 254 0841 or call 911.
