DECATUR, IL. (THECOUNT) — Kimberly D. Mashburn has been identified as the victim found deceased inside a truck in Decatur, Illinois on Wednesday afternoon.
Mashburn, 29, was found dead inside a vehicle in the 1300 block of East Walnut Street after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
She was pronounced dead just after 7 p.m.
A cause of death was not provided by the Macon County coroner.
An autopsy is scheduled Thursday afternoon at the McLean County morgue, according to Herald-Review.
“We are currently investigating the circumstances around the death,” Decatur police Sgt. Chris Copeland said.
