HENRY COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Sandra White, 39 of Stockbridge, and Arkeyvion White, 16 of Stockbridge have been identified as pregnant woman and a teenager killed in a 15-plus hour standoff that occurred in Henry County.
White, 39 and her 16-year-old son, were being held hostage by suspect Anthony “Tony” Bailey Jr, of Atlanta, throughout the Thursday ordeal.
Bailey, 47, was also found dead in the home, reports WBSTV.
The situation began just before 11 a.m. on April 4 and stretched into the early morning hours of April 5.
The sister of the pregnant woman found her dead and immediately called the police fearing for the life of the 16-year-old teen that was being held as a hostage.
Police hoped that the suspect would release the teen unharmed. However, after more than 15 hours trying to make the criminal cooperate with the police, the suspect killed the teen and possibly shot himself, reports Amomama
Police got gained entry to the house at about 3:30 a.m. That when they made the grisly discovery of three bodies.
The injured officers’ condition was not provided.
