TN Woman Jessica Whaley ID’d As Victim In Wednesday Fatal Cleveland Shooting Chadesha Jones Charged Reckless Homicide

BRADLEY COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Chadesha Dejoy Jones has been identified as the Tennessee woman charged with reckless homicide in connection to the fatal shooting of another woman in Cleveland on Wednesday.

Officials say, Jessica Elizabeth Whaley, 30, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound to her chest just before 4 p.m. on Victory Street.

Reports say, Jones, whose age was not provided, called 911 to report the accidental shooting of Whaley.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

Cleveland Police Chief Mark Gibson told WDEF that the department is in the very early stages of the investigation.

“On these types of cases we look more at the history and the demographics of the victim and the suspect in this case to help see if there’s more to the story.”

Police indicated the two women are acquaintances.

Body Of IL Man Terry Alan Fodemski Missing Since Nov 2018 Found In Icy Winfield Pond

WINFIELD, IL. (THECOUNT) — The body of Terry Alan Fodemski, the 64-year-old Winfield man who went missing on his way to a doctor’s appointment in November, 2018, has been located in an iced-over pond in Winfield, Illinois on Wednesday, according to family members.

Nancy Dubovich last spoke with her brother on the phone Nov. 2, 2018, about a doctor’s appointment. Dubovich and her husband were concerned that Fodemski wasn’t taking his medication, they said at the time.

Nancy Dubovich was going to go with Fodemski to the doctor’s office for his appointment, but Fodemski never showed up, she said at the time.

After they didn’t hear from Fodemski in the days afterward, “obviously, we were concerned,” George Dubovich said. The couple went to Fodemski’s home Nov. 9 where he lived alone.

George Dubovich said his family’s posts on social media about Fodemski were shared hundreds of times and fliers were posted around the area.

A cause of death was not provided.

TX Woman Karolina Camara Arrested & Fans Of ‘The Office’ Noticed Something Hilarious About Her Austin Mugshot

AUSTIN, TX. (THECOUNT) — Austin woman, Karolina Camara, is facing a theft charge for using her position in the Austin Polish Society to write checks for personal gain, but it’s her mugshot that getting all the attention, especially from fans of TV Series, The Office.

Camara, 41, who was arrested and accused of issuing 54 checks worth $72,800 to herself and her husband while serving as treasurer of the Austin Polish Society, a non-profit organization, is now going viral over the mugshot, which Office fans think mirror the features of beloved character, Pam Beesly, aka, Jenna Fischer.

Camara was booked into Williamson County Jail earlier this month but has since paid bond, according to TheBuzz.

DE State U Student Marlon Jackson Dies In Hospital Following Saturday Smyrna Crash

DOVER, DE. (THECOUNT) — Marlon Jackson, the Delaware State University student involved in a violent Saturday vehicle crash, that also injured several other students, has passed away in the hospital.

Family members say, Jackson, 23, died following the crash. He had been kept alive by a hospital life support system.

The crash occurred on Delaware 1, in Smyrna, Delaware, on Feb. 23 in the late afternoon after Jackson, who was operating a Chevy Impala, exited the roadway and headed into the path of a semi-tractor heading in the opposite direction.

Jackson, who previously served time in the Air Force, was being sent on trips, known as missions at all hours while pledging for Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, according to his family members.

Following the accident, his mother said he fell asleep at the wheel because the fraternity he was pledging, Kappa Alpha Psi, was keeping him up. She said she begged him to get rest hours before the crash, reported Fox29 on Thursday.

His girlfriend also claimed he was being hazed at the time of the deadly crash.

Officials at Delaware State University are investigating the incident.

The vehicle’s front passenger was also critically injured.

The two rear passengers were hospitalized in stable condition after the crash.

Jackson’s heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and pancreas were donated to seven people.

TN “Look Alive” Drake Collaborator Rapper ‘BlocBoy JB’ James Baker Arrested In Memphis

MEMPHIS, TN. (THECOUNT) – Memphis rapper BlocBoy JB, AKA, James Baker, was taken into custody in Shelby County on Wednesday, according to officials.

Baker, 22, was arrested after a warrant was issued for his arrest earlier this month on charges of possession of drugs & drug paraphernalia, convicted felon in possession of a handgun, and for theft of property.

He was previously arrested for possession of drugs with intent to sell, evading arrest and theft. He served time for those charges.

The rapper had his first major hit last year with “Shoot,” and the viral dance that went along with it. He’s also known in the national rap scene for the song “Look Alive” with superstar Drake that made it into the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, reports wmcactionnews5.

KS Man Kimball Hiner ID’d As Victim In Fatal Duman TX Single-Vehicle Crash Sunday

SHERMAN COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Kimball Hiner, of Elkhart, Kansas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Sherman County, TX on Sunday.

Hiner, 60, who was residing in Dumas, died after DPS officials say he fell asleep while operating a vehicle in Sherman County on Sunday.

According to DPS officials, Hiner was traveling north on FM 119 when he fell asleep after 8 a.m. Sunday morning.

His car then veered off to the west of the roadway, went airborne and crashed into the ground on its nose, reports NewsChannel10 Wednesday.

Hiner was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the crash.

DPS officials said in a crash report that the victim was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

According to social media, Hiner works as a driller and is originally from Lawton, Oklahoma.

VA Man Billy Bickers ID’d As Victim In Wednesday Ashland Single-Vehicle Crash

HANOVER, VA. (THECOUNT) — William “Billy” Lee Peyton Bickers, of Ashland, Virginia, has been identified as the victim killed after rolling his vehicle in Ashland on Wednesday evening.

Bickers, 37, was found suffering from blunt force trauma injuries after Hanover deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on Ashland Road, near the intersection at Old Sawmill Lane, at approximately 7:31 p.m., on Wednesday.

The victim was operating Volvo in the area of Ashland Road when it exited the roadway in a curve, and rolled over.

Peyton Bickers was pronounced dead at the scene, according to NBC12.

The crash remains under investigation.

TX Man Desmond Arnez Nixon ID’d As Victim Found Shot Dead In Beaumont Wednesday

BEAUMONT, TX. (THECOUNT) — Desmond Arnez Nixon has been identified as the victim found shot in the 5800 block of Picadilly Lane in Beaumont, Texas, Wednesday night according to police.

Nixon, 35, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound around 11:50 p.m. after officers responded to the area on a call of shots fired, according to a Beaumont Police Department news release.

Nixon was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

On Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:51 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to the 5800 block of Picadilly Lane in reference to a victim of a shooting.

When Officers arrived they found the victim, identified as Desmond Nixon (35 year old Beaumont resident), suffering from gunshot wounds.

Beaumont EMS transported Nixon to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

BPD Detectives are following multiple leads and are asking anyone with information to call Beaumont Police at 409-832-1234 or Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers at 409-833-TIPS (8477).

In 2015, Nixon, then 31, had two Murder warrants issued for his suspected involvement in a May shooting at Magnolia Park, in Beaumont. It is unclear what became of that 2015 case.
