GLENDALE, CA. (THECOUNT) — KTLA Channel 5 Los Angeles, weekend anchor, Chris Burrous, has been identified as the victim found lifeless in a motel room in Glendale Thursday.
Burrous, 43, was discovered not breathing inside a Glendale, Days Inn motel room, located at, 450 Pioneer Drive, in Glendale, CA, reports say.
CPR was administered and Burrous was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities did not provide a cause of death.
Police received a call about 1:15 p.m. from a man who said a man he was with at the Days Inn, located at 450 Pioneer Drive, had passed out and was possibly not breathing, according to Sgt. Dan Suttles of the Glendale Police Department. source
The original call to police stated Burrous may have overdosed, but detectives will await the Los Angeles County coroner’s office report for a determination of the cause of death, Suttles said.
