KOOTENAI COUNTY, ID. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Liles has been identified as the victim in a shooting near Post Falls, Idaho Saturday evening.
Liles, 24, died after suffering a single gunshot wound on Gallatin Way at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday., according to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.
Kootenai Fire and Rescue medical personnel arrived on scene after receiving a call of shots fired. Upon arrival, a victim, later identified as Liles, was found suffering from a single gunshot wound.
Despite life saving measures the victim passed away at the scene as a result of gunshot injuries.
Deputies detained William C. Carlson, 41, (pictured above,) at the scene and identified him as the shooter. Deputies later arrested Carlson for Involuntary Manslaughter and took him to the Kootenai County Public Safety building. source
This investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as investigators release details.
