ID Man Tyler Liles ID’d As Post Falls Saturday Shooting Victim

KOOTENAI COUNTY, ID. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Liles has been identified as the victim in a shooting near Post Falls, Idaho Saturday evening.

Liles, 24, died after suffering a single gunshot wound on Gallatin Way at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday., according to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.

Kootenai Fire and Rescue medical personnel arrived on scene after receiving a call of shots fired. Upon arrival, a victim, later identified as Liles, was found suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Despite life saving measures the victim passed away at the scene as a result of gunshot injuries.

Deputies detained William C. Carlson, 41, (pictured above,) at the scene and identified him as the shooter. Deputies later arrested Carlson for Involuntary Manslaughter and took him to the Kootenai County Public Safety building. source

In a series of final Facebook posts, posted yesterday afternoon, Liles talked about how he’d recently come into a “good chunk” of money,

“For the first time in a long time a have a good chunk of change i could go blow, but naw I’m gonna stock pile that ish in the bank! WRX here I come”
