MUNCIE, IN. (THECOUNT) — Joe Minor Jr. has been identified as the pedestrian killed early Saturday after being struck by a motorist who then fled from the scene.
Minor, 27, was found dead in the front yard of a home in the 100 block of South Morrison Road, north of Colonial Crest Apartments, in Muncie, IN, about 12:20 a.m.
Muncie police received a call from a concerned citizen who reported a body in the from area of a home. A bloodied shoe belonging to the victim was found on the roadway.
Minor’s death occurred in the early hours of the victim’s 27th birthday. source
An autopsy was planned Saturday at the hospital.

he wasnt found dead, he was hit at 11pm and nobody called it in till 1230am the next morning...he died at 2:42am saturday morning on his birthday from massive blunt force trauma to the head (per coroner's report)
