WALESKA, GA. (THECOUNT) — Dylan Bohannon, of Waleska, GA, has been identified as the victim in a early Saturday in a single-vehicle crash in northwest Cherokee County, the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office said.
Bohannon, 23, was traveling on S.R. 108, west of Waleska, GA, when for unknown reasons, exited the roadway and struck a tree. He was the only one occupying the vehicle at the time of the violent crash.
Deputies were dispatched to the single-vehicle accident around 1:30 a.m. Oct. 6 on S.R. 108 just west of Waleska. A preliminary investigation shows a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Dylan Bohannon, 23, left the road and struck a tree, said sheriff’s office spokesperson Jay Baker. source
Bohannon was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.
The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating the accident.
