Young IL Mother Shana Outlaw ID’d As Victim In Thursday Fatal Leverett US-45 Crash

CHAMPAIGN, IL. (THECOUNT) — Shana Outlaw, of Rantoul, has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash on Route 45 in Leverett Thursday.

Outlaw, 23, was reportedly outside of her vehicle tending to a mechanical issue with while three children were inside of the car, when a truck struck the rear of her vehicle.

A truck was traveling southbound on Route 45 at Leverett when it struck the back of the parked car. The parked car was thrown off the roadway and overturned in the ditch. source

Outlaw died from multiple traumatic injuries, according to officials, that she received from the crash.

She was pronounced at an area hospital in Urbana at 6:40 a.m.
