STUDIO CITY, CA. (THECOUNT) — We noticed an awful lot of folks on social media going after singer Ariana Grande, saying she had something to do with the untimely death of rapper Mac Miller. So we set out to find out why people are being so horrible. Tall order.
Miller, whose full name is Malcolm James McCormick, was found Friday around noon at his home in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, dead of an apparent suicide.
Just a sampling of some of the awful comments on Twitter blasting Grande:
@SuperSaiyanJuju
Rest In Peace Mac Miller and f**k you Ariana Grande@aa_youngboy
Ariana Grande really got my boy Mac Miller killed Rip to a legend… til we see again@carmC33
Mac f**king Miller died? Are you f**king kidding me?? RIP.. Way to go Ariana Grande
Shortly after the news broke of Mac Miller’s death, people also immediately flooded Ariana’s Instagram with malicious comments calling her “lowkey evil” and telling her that “this is your fault.” She’s had to disable comments.
Could the “people” critical of Grande really be hate bots?
