PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Jodie Linkous of Prince George, has been identified by authorities as the woman killed in a head-on crash Sunday morning in Disputanta, VA.
Linkous, 43, was traveling in Prince George County just before 11 a.m. in the 11000 block of Hitchcock Road, when the fatal crash occurred.
“The investigation revealed a 2016 Kia Soul was traveling westbound on Hitchcock Road, and crossed the center of the roadway,” officials said. “The vehicle then struck a 2010 Honda Accord traveling eastbound head-on.” source
Linkous was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Honda was transported with minor injuries.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact police at 911.
