Indianapolis Metropolitan police are conducting a homicide investigating after a woman’s body was found inside the fitness center at 9 on Canal apartments near downtown canal Friday morning.
Officers responded to 335 W. 9th St. after a person was found murdered. The woman’s name has not been released pending notification of kin.
Officers at the scene said the body was discovered on the second level of the building, which houses the gym for 9 on Canal apartments. source
The lower level houses “CrossFit Infiltrate,” police said.
Police initially classified this as a death investigation but later upgraded it to a murder case.
