NC Doctor Accused Of Child Exploitation FOUND DEAD At Signature Hanger

John McGuire, the former doctor who was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, for a second time, was found dead of an apparent suicide Thursday at the Signature Flight Support hanger,

John McGuire, of Biltmore Forest, was arrested for sexual exploitation of a minor in 2012, after device belonging to him was found in the River Arts District with photos of young girls in suggestive clothing and poses.

According to the search warrant served Tuesday, McGuire was charged with a felony for knowingly possessing material containing a visual representation of two girls, under the age of 10, engaging in sexual activity. He was charged with violating his probation. McGuire was found dead Thursday afternoon at Asheville Regional Airport. Officials said airport police responded to a call at Signature Flight Support, where McGuire was found. source

McGuire, who leased a hangar at Signature, was discovered in his hangar with an apparent fatal, self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officials said no other information was available.
