One deputy is dead and two others are in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The shooter was killed.
The officers were shot in Bailey, which is located in Park County, Colorado. Bailey is about 75 miles miles northwest of Colorado Springs.
According to Park County officials, the other two deputies have non-life-threatening injuries. One suspect was shot and killed.The shooting happened at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the incident. Colorado Bureau of Investigation Crime Scene Investigators and agents have also responded. h/t 9news
