After Record Kick, Colts Kicker Hauled In For Drug Testing

Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri set a team record for the longest field goal in playoff history in a win against the Cincinnati Bengals – and then immediately got a notice from the NFL that he was “randomly’ being tested for drugs..

Colts punter Pat McAfee took to social media posting a picture of the actual letter Vinatieri received from the NFL confirming his teammate had been selected for drug testing.

Vinatieri’s 53-yard field goal in the fourth quarter against Cincinnati on Sunday topped his previous team record of 52 yards against Baltimore on Jan. 6, 2013. h/t espn
