JOAN RIVERS LIFE SUPPORT

Joan Rivers is on life support and is completely dependant on machines to stay alive, say doctors.

Rivers was rushed to the hospital after she stopped breathing during throat surgery on Thursday. The comic’s heart also stopped but was restarted. Early reports said she was put into a medically induced coma, but now we are learning her condition is much worse than believed.

Firefighters Finish Mowing Lawn for Heart Attack Victim

In a random act of kindness, Firefighters from Bayton, Texas, responded to a 911 call on Tuesday for a man who suffered a heart attack while mowing his lawn. After treating and transporting the man to a local hospital, firefighters finished mowing his lawn.

Members of Bayton Fire Department’s Station 4 then put the lawnmower away and locked the garage and left a comforting note to the man’s wife.

Boy Cuts HIGH RISE Worker’s SAFETY CORD To Hear Cartoons

A Chinese boy, 8, left a high-rise worker dangling midair after cutting his safety cord because he could not hear his cartoons..

The panicked worked yelled down to a co-worker, who called firemen. He was rescued about 40 minutes later.

Xinhua quoted the worker, surnamed Liu, as saying:

“When I was using the electric drill, I felt my lower rope shaking. Then I saw the boy cutting the rope with a knife.”

“I shouted at him to stop but he didn’t listen and soon after, the rope was broken. That’s when I called to my workmate for help,’ Liu said.”

 
Shanghaiist says that after speaking with police, “the boy finally admitted to what he did”:

“His father, surnamed Tang, was called to come back home from work. He gave Liu a sincere apology on behalf of his son and compensated him with … a new safety rope.”

 
Annoyed at the construction racket outside his window, the boy decided to cut the safety line on the man’s rappelling apparatus.

TEEN DEAD After CRASHING Lamborghini During TEST DRIVE

A teen in New York taking a test drive in a Lamborghini has died after crashing into a guardrail.

The car’s owner, Michael Power, was a passenger in the car and was treated for nonlife-threatening injuries. Det. Sgt. Michael Fitzharris tells Newsday that excessive speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. Of the test drive, Fitzharris says, “I think it was probably just a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the kid, and this man chose to give him this opportunity.” source

Shepard’s father, Gene, tells the newspaper that Lamborghinis were his son’s favorite car.
