Peter Rodger, father of mass murderer Elliot Rodger, spoke to ABC News anchor Barbara Walters about his life after the shooting.
Rodger ‘s son, Elliot, killed six people last month during a shooting spree near the University of California, Santa Barbara.
“When you go to sleep normally, you have a nightmare and you wake up and, ‘Oh, everything’s OK.’ Now I go to sleep, I might have a nice dream. And then I wake up and it’s, slowly, the truth of what happened dawns on me,” the Hollywood movie director told “20/20”. “And you know, that is that my son was a mass murderer.” “We didn’t see this coming at all,” Peter Rodger said. source
