Tito Torbellino ASESINADO!

Mexican singer, Tomas Tovar Rascon, aka, Tito Torbellino was murdered Thursday while eating lunch at a Japanese restaurant in Obregón.

An unknown gunmen stormed the restaurant and hit him in the head and chest. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Latin Times reported that the Phoenix, Arizona-born musician formed his band in 2002 and was also working as a producer for an upcoming film called El Filly. When asked about how other musicians like himself have been murdered, he explained that “all jobs have their risks” and that musicians should be careful of what they say and not get involved in risky situations. source

As police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, tributes have poured in for Tito Torbellino. Lead singer of Los Tucanes de Tijuana Mario Quintero said the news of his death was a “bucket of cold water” that left everyone saddened.
