LeAnn Rimes tweeted about witnessing a plane crash that occurred at the Aspen airport.
A small plane crashed Sunday afternoon at the Aspen–Pitkin County Airport in Colorado, authorities said.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. MT, the Aspen Police Department told KTLA 5.
Emergency crews had just arrived at the scene, and police could not confirm if anyone was seriously injured.
Several people who were in the area at the time of the crash tweeted about the incident, including singer and actress LeAnn Rimes.
“So Sad! Horrible plane crash we just saw happen at the Aspen airport,” Rimes wrote.
