TONS of Cher fans (me) got the shock of their meandering lives after wrongly interpreting Tweets attached to a Twitter hashtag referencing the passing of former Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.. Confused? Let me explain. The hashtag, when spelled out read: #NowThatchersDead, but Cher fans, foggy from years of drug abuse saw, #NowThatChersDead. At this point you should be laughing.
The following Twitter types, on the other hand, were not laughing.. Mostly because they thought Cher really did buy the farm in a final fail at turning back time..
It was Monday we learned Margaret Thatcher had passed away and though she was arguably the country’s most important political figure since Winston Churchill, Cher, important for making ass-less chaps popular, is alive and well.
