Argentine Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio was elected pope on Wednesday after the smoke stack started pouring white smoke, the indication cardinals have made their collective choice. The new papal took the name Francis, becoming first pontiff from the Americas and the first from outside Europe in more than a millennium. One fun fact about him is he only has one lung!
