A man who is sitting in an Orlando prison for drug trafficking, says that he is the “real” Magic Mike, and Channing Tatum is NOT.
The real Magic Mike’s name is Mike Sorrentino, just like “Jersey Shore” actor Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, but Magic Mike has a distinguishable difference that far out-ways The Sitch’s talents.
As Magic Mike sits in jail, he told a journalist at Inside Edition, that he taught “Magic Mike” movie star Channing Tatum, everything he knows. He claims that Tatum took the movie’s character and plot from his life.

Sorrentino, who used to look like model Fabio said, “I am the real Magic Mike. That was a part of my life that I’ll never forget. And apparently he [Tatum] didn’t forget either.”
Tatum begs to differ with Sorrentino’s claim, saying that the movie was only inspired by his former job as a stripper in Tampa, Florida, but none of the characters in the film are based on real life people.
