Two senior colonels that refused to bomb their own people have defected to Malta. The men, sworn to the command of Libyan leader Moammar Kadafi decided to side in with the protestors.
The jets could be seen on a course to follow other jets carrying out the bombings of protestors, however, the two senior colonels veered off course, eventually landing in Malta.
