I found this fun iPhone app called “aLike”, which uses facial recognition to match your face with a celebrity’s. Although this app is fun and free, I’m not so sure it’s accurate. I mean, my Courteney Cox comparison picture is certainly VERY questionable, and my Amanda Bynes comparison wouldn’t be all that bad, if she weren’t seen toting around with purple-silver hair and Band-aids on her heels lately. The Britney Snow may be the best comparison, but I think the app could still do better.
It’s safe to say that Charlize Theron is years late on the ‘Sittin’ On The Toilet’ parody you are about to watch, as mine was done in November 2009, and her version was put onto FunnyOrDie just hours ago. Theron teamed up with FunnyOrDie.com to put a series of staged videos and photos on their site, pretending as if her phone was ‘hacked’. FunnyorDie made it look as if they got ahold of her private material, and she was unaware that it had been uploaded.
I just have to know one thing Charlize, Were you ‘sittin’ on toilet thinking of me?’ Haha!
Ever wonder why ‘bad’ or ‘no talent’ YouTube videos have so many hits, or why they become viral? I am going to help you understand your “baffled” thought process when you stumble into this situation, and explain what’s going on behind the scenes on the YouTube playground.
The psychology you go through when you see a viral video: Have you ever seen a horrible video on YouTube that has over 1 Million views? If so, the first thing you said to yourself was, ‘how did this crappy video get so many views?!’. Then, maybe you share the crappy video and you even tell yourself that ‘it’s actually a good video’, even if you keep calling it ‘that stupid video’. WHY are you somehow ‘into’ this video? Would you ever share it or watch it again if it didn’t have over a Million hits? Probably not…
You’re not the only one who is going through these motions after seeing a crappy, yet popular viral YouTube video, everyone out there in Internetland is scratching their head too, but then following in line with the ‘trend’ like zombies. You don’t know why you want to be involved in this trending video, whether you’re commenting or sharing it, you’re just following the herd.
A fellow YouTuber, who I call the ‘Skittles Boombox Guy’, has been noticed in a big way, by none other than “Skittles” the actual candy company.
The video “Skittles Boom Box”, starring Nathan J. Barnatt, who plays zany character Trale Lowous, was produced so well, that the Skittles company could not turn away without giving Barnatt some money, a job and fame.
Skittles hired on Barnatt as their spokesman, to promote a new Skittles contest. Barnatt plays his character Trale Lowous in the new promo video, where he entices you to enter the “Ride The Rainbow” Skittles contest, where you could win a Skittles Pinball Machine and a trip to LA to star in Trale’s next Skittles YouTube video. Congrats Nathan!
You’ve either seen it, or you’ve taken it, or you’ve done both!
Have you taken the “Cinnamon Challenge” before? You probably don’t need to try it for yourself, as enough people on YouTube have proven the same results. We already know what’s going to happen!
Have you received your ‘stupid certificate’ for doing the challenge anyway, even though you can predict the results to be the same as everyone elses?
Pinnochio wanted to be a ‘real boy’, and Audrina Patridge wants to be a ‘real actor’. Will she make her dream come true?
Image via Wikipedia
Audrina Patridge is best known for playing ‘herself’ on the former MTV show “The Hills”, which didn’t take much acting ability, as Patridge was able to improv and kind of just ‘be herself’, whilst keeping a loose script in tact.
After The Hills ended, she then landed a movie role with some real-deal acting. It was “Into The Blue 2: The Reef”, which went straight-to-DVD, but she did a good job.
