The liberals are hailing the latest episode of Saturday Night Live starring “Spy” star, Melissa McCarthy, as one of the funniest ever. The comedian portrays Sean Spicer during a rip-roaring White House press briefing. Twilight actress, Kristen Stewart also appears in the skit.

During the cold SNL opening, McCarthy plays Spicer, the current White House Press Secretary and Communications Director conducting a White House press briefing through the eyes of a snowflake.

Brooks Wheelan FIRED From SNL After One Season

Brooks Wheelan, the freshman comedian enlisted on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, revealed on Twitter Monday that he won’t be returning for his sophomore year.

The funny man, possibly the funnest in the new crop of SNL hires, tweeted of his demise, “Fired from New York, it’s Saturday Night!”

Deadline is reporting that last night’s SNL, hosted by Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Andrew Garfield with musical guest Coldplay, matched a season low when it comes to folks tuning in..

Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Andrew Garfield as host, Coldplay as musical guest and Garfield’s co-star/girlfriend Emma Stone as a featured surprise guest, last night’s show averaged a 3.9 in the metered markets households and a 2.0 among adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters.

Lena Dunham SNL RATINGS BOMB

NBC’s huge promo push for Lena Dunham‘s hosting of Saturday Night Live did not pay off as the program was the second lowest rated of the season..Lena-Dunham-snl

Last night, the Dunham-hosted SNL with musical guest The National averaged a 4.1 household rating in the metered markets and a 2.1 in adults 18-49 in the markets with Local People Meters.
