Brenda Delgado, the woman wanted for her role in the murder of a Dallas dentist, has been apprehended in Mexico, authorities in Mexico say.
Delgado, 33, who was added this week to the FBI’s list of “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives,” was captured in the city of Torreon, in north-central Mexico, according to the office of the Mexico attorney general.
Delgago will be transferred to Mexico City, where she will be detained pending proceedings for extrication to North Texas. Continue reading
Shaylyn Ammerman, the Spencer, Indiana, toddler that went missing between Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, has sadly been found dead.
Indiana State police found Shaylyn’s body just after 6 p.m. near the White River, just northeast of Gosport. A male, Kyle Parker, 22, has been taken into custody in the case.
JetBlue flight attendant Marsha Gay Reynolds, busted for trying to smuggle nearly 70 pounds of pure cocaine from LAX to NYC’s LaGuardia airport, was a former 2008 Miss Jamaica runner up.
Reynolds was arrested after after trying to flee authorities after being directed to the more screening cue at LAX.

One deputy is dead and two others are in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The shooter was killed.
The officers were shot in Bailey, which is located in Park County, Colorado. Bailey is about 75 miles miles northwest of Colorado Springs.

Apple is saying the Department of Justice made a big mistake in its handling of the San Bernardino shooter‘s iPhone by changing the password to the device’s iCloud account.
According to senior Apple executives, the DOJ had a valuable opportunity to get into the terrorist’s iCloud account, but for some reason, investigators changed the password.

A unidentified federal official revealed that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia appears to have passed away from natural causes. The source added, “so far” foul play does not seem to be a factor in the Justice’s death.
The Presidio County sheriff, the FBI, and the US Marshall Service are reportedly investigating Scalia’s death.

The US Marshals Service in Washington confirmed Scalia’s death, according to the Associated Press. Spokeswoman Donna Sellers said Scalia was found dead Saturday morning when he did not appear for breakfast. The San Antonio Express News, a local Texas news outlet, was the first to report Scalia’s death, quoting US District Judge Fred Biery who said he was one of the first to find out that the justice had died. “It happened on a ranch out near Marfa,” Biery said. “As far as the details, I think it’s pretty vague right now as to how.” h/t vice

Although the motives remain unknown, Mohamad Barry, 30, a muslim man, may have ties to Islamic extremists.
