Jennifer Lawrence is admitting that she got bullied in school, and sure that sucks, but do you know what the best part is about getting harassed at school? The part where you one day get wildly famous! Now that’s some good old fashion payback… “I changed schools a lot when I was in elementary school because some girls were mean,” said Lawrence speaking to The Sun.
“They were less mean in middle school, because I was doing all right, although this one girl gave me invitations to hand out to her birthday party that I wasn’t invited to,” she says. “But that was fine, I just hocked a loogie on them and threw them in the trash can,” Jennifer adds of how she dealt with the situation.
Lawrence learned some important lessons back then like you can’t let the bullies dictate your self-worth.
“Don’t worry about the [B-word]s — that could be a good motto, because you come across people like that throughout your life, it’s hard for a young woman because typically the roles you’re offered are beautiful and [mean], ugly and nice or pretty and stupid. I’ve been lucky to stay away from that. I never play characters that are like me because I’m a boring person. I wouldn’t want to see me in a movie,” Lawrence says.
My brother lives in a gated community and his house has a “panic button” that when depressed immediately summonses Barney Fife from the grave. Marietta, Ga, Public Schools will now employ a similar type “panic button” thanks to the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. WGCL-TV. Teachers will now be required to wear the trendy high tech whistle around their necks…
“Once that happens, we send everybody we have to that school until we can determine what the exact cause of the threat is,” Marietta Police Officer David Baldwin told WGCL.
Safety in schools got a makeover in the form of new rules and regulations following the Newtown school shooting.
“You can’t help but think about your own children and the children that you were sworn to protect,” Baldwin says. “Because of that you really want to do whatever you can to safely protect.”
Other schools are either already using or will soon be deploying “panic buttons,” that once pressed puts the entire school on lockdown, locking students inside their classrooms.
The body of Adam Lanza, the 20-year-old that shot and killed 26 people has been claimed for burial says USAToday.

Carver’s office refused to release further details about the status of Lanza’s remains.
The exact spot of the grave is expected to remain secret for security reason.
