Cheering Mom Arrested at Daughter’s Graduation for Simply Cheering!

In Myrtle Beach, S.C., at South Florence High School, a Mother of a graduating student was arrested for happily cheering for her daughter at the school’s graduation ceremony.

Even though this sounds like bologna, the rule that ‘no one at the graduation ceremony is allowed to cheer or they will be escorted out of the building’ is even more stacks of bologna!

Shannon Cooper, the Mother who was just so excited, she couldn’t hide it- proudly cheered for daughter, not thinking about the stupid rule that was announced before the ceremony begun. It was until officials started coming her way, that Cooper realized she shouldn’t have freely expressed herself!

Cooper was taken out of the auditorium, arrested, and charged with disorderly conduct! Her daughter Iesha graduated with no idea that anything happened to her Mom until later, when she got wind that Police placed her Mom in a detention center and needed to be bailed out for $225.

When Cooper was bailed out, she told WPDE in Myrtle Beach how she felt about the absurd arrest, saying that she wasn’t the only audience member cheering, and the arrest was unfair. Cooper said, “They’re locking your [Iesha’s] Mama up for cheering — and I was like that isn’t right because other people was cheering and they didn’t lock them up… Are ya’ll serious? Are ya’ll for real? I mean, that’s what I’m thinking in my mind. I didn’t say anything. I was just, like, ‘OK, I can’t fight the law.’”

Really? Teen Student Sent Home From School For Inappropriate Dress

The dress is not so great but I think it was a little harsh to call her out on that! Maybe she doesn’t have the money to buy fancy dresses people! Following was penned by the dad.

I am not the best judge of “appropriate” dress for a 14-year-old girl. I try, but it is a skill I have no intention of using for very long. I tried to circumvent my need for it at all by suggesting that both my daughters wear hospital scrubs till they graduate the 12th grade, but that was apparently “not happening.” I know that if I dressed myself from my younger daughter’s wardrobe, it would be wildly inappropriate regardless of what I chose. Now my lack of attention had forced her into a life of crime. It is always the parent’s fault.

Luckily I was working from home, so I took a camera and rushed over to the junior high school with some dungarees and a sack-like shirt for her to change into. This is a picture of her in the school’s front office, and this is the apparently inappropriate outfit she was wearing.

Scratch That, Michael Jackson Kids to Stay Homeschooled

Our good friends at TMZ are reporting plans for Michael’s kids to attend the private Buckley School have been scrapped.  The children will continue to be homeschooled by the same tutors that have been assigned by Michael himself.

The kid’s homeschooling that will take place at their new home in Encino, will have the same environment of a regular school complete with a freshly built schoolyard for recess and PE. Field trips will also be planned to give the kids the total school experience.

No word on if a bully will be hired to harass the kids, after all I had one in school, something tell me the family would stop short of making the schooling completely real.
