AL Man Camilo Puig Gonzalez ID’d As Victim In Black Friday Morning Fatal Bellwood Crash

DOTHAN, AL. (THECOUNT) —

A Geneva County, Alabama, man has died following a single-vehicle crash early Black Friday morning.

Geneva County Coroner Donny Adkinson identified the victim as 21-year-old Camilo Puig Gonzalez.

According to Coroner Adkinson, Gonzalez’s vehicle left the roadway on County Road 45 in Bellwood, Alabama, before striking a tree. The crash occurred in the early hours of Friday morning.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is leading the investigation into the incident. No additional details about the cause of the crash or contributing factors have been released at this time.

Geneva County is a county located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census, the population was 26,659. Its county seat is Geneva.
