ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, VA. (THCOUNT) — Virginia State Police is investigating a motorcycle crash that resulted in the death of 21-year-old Tyler Willis Buchanan of Roanoke. The accident occurred around 1 p.m. on Tuesday on Blue Ridge Parkway in Rockbridge County.
Authorities report that Willis-Buchanan was riding a Kawasaki ZX-4 traveling north on Blue Ridge Parkway when the bike ran off the right side of the road and struck numerous trees.
Tragically, Willis-Buchanan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
