FRANKLIN COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Abigail Divoll, of Royalston, Massachusetts, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday afternoon fatal ATV crash in Franklin County.
Divoll, 25, was killed in a single-vehicle ATV crash near Rangeley Saturday afternoon. Matthew Tolman, 26, of Hubbardston, Massachusetts, has been identified as the operator of the ATV.
According to reports, Tolman was operating an ATV with Divoll as his passenger, when the vehicle wrecked near Coplin Plantation around 12: 45 p.m. Saturday.
Tolman was transported to an area hospital with a serious head injury.
Divoll died was a result of injuries suffered in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
