PIKE COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Charlisa Kennee Brunson, of Troy, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning vehicle crash in Pike County.
Brunson, 33, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Brundidge early Saturday morning.
According to reports, Brunson was operating a Honda Accord on AL-231 near Brundidge, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 1:50 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle then came into contact with an embankment.
Brunson, who was ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
