OKLAHOMA COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Maverick Wayne Reidel, of Oklahoma City, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal motorcycle collision involving an animal in Oklahoma County.
Reidel, 21, was killed in a motorcycle-versus-cow collision in Oklahoma City Thursday night.
According to reports, Reidel was operating a motorcycle on N.E. 150th Street, Oklahoma City, when the bike came into contact with a cow in the roadway around 11:45 p.m. Thursday.
Reidel was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Officials did not provide details on the condition of the animal.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
