OKLAHOMA COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Catherine Bridgette Fitts, of Oklahoma City, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night fatal motorcycle crash in Oklahoma County.
Fitts, 33, was killed while riding as a passenger on a motorcycle Tuesday night.
According to reports, Fitts was traveling as a passenger on a motorcycle on Northwest 10th Street near Council Road in Oklahoma City, when the bike came into contact with a Ford Transit Van around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The motorcycle then went down before being struck by a second vehicle.
Both riders were transported to an area hospital where Fitts was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
No other injuries were reported in the wreck.
The operator of the motorcycle remains in serious condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
