ADAMS COUNTY, MS. (THECOUNT) — Travone Jones and Devin Winchester have been identified as the victims in a Friday night double-fatal shooting in Adams County, Mississippi.
Jones and Winchester, both 19, were fatally shot in the parking lot area of a Natchez nightclub Friday night.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired outside Vowell’s Cash Saver on D’Evereux Drive in Natchez around 10:30 p.m. When they arrived, Jones, Winchester and several others, were found suffering from apparent gunshot injuries.
Jones and Winchester were pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at the scene.
At least two other individuals were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
No suspect or motive information was provided by officials as of Saturday morning.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
