JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Matthew Robert McClellan, of Center Point, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in an overnight vehicle crash in Jefferson County.
Matt McClellan, 35, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Adger early Tuesday morning.
According to reports, McClellan was operating a vehicle on Smith Camp Loop near Johnson Camp Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway before coming into contact with a grouping of trees around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday.
McClellan was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
