LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Dylan Abel McMahan, of Athens, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in an early Saturday morning vehicle crash in Limestone County.
McMahan, 21, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Athens overnight.
According to reports, McMahan was operating a vehicle on Brownsferry Road near Athens, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway and came into contact with a tree around 12:45 a.m. Saturday.
McMahan was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
