MARSHALL COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Paul Neal Walton, of Albertville, Alabama, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Tuesday fatal vehicle strike in Marshall County.
Walton, 55, was killed after he was struck by a semi-tractor in Boaz Tuesday morning.
According to reports, Walton was on-foot in the area of the 1800 block of US Highway 431 in Boaz, when he was struck by a passing big-rig Tuesday morning.
Walton was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The involved driver remained on the scene.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
