MONTGOMERY COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Tanya Anderson Krenzel, of Dayton, Ohio, has been identified as the pedestrian in a fatal Monday hit-and-run vehicle strike in Montgomery County.
Krenzel, 43, who was identified by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office as “Tiffany Anderson,” was killed after she was struck by a vehicle early Monday morning in Dayton.
According to reports, Krenzel was on-foot in the area of the 200 block of Redwood Avenue near Riverside Drive in Dayton, when she was struck by a vehicle around 5 a.m. Monday.
Officials say, the victim was struck and appeared to have been dragged by a vehicle that then fled the scene.
Krenzel was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
