COLBERT COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Sondra Lynelle McCutchen, of Town Creek, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Friday fatal vehicle crash in Colbert County.
McCutchen, 55, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Muscle Shoals Friday morning.
According to reports, McCutchen was operating a Ford Fusion on AL-184 about 10 miles east of Muscle Shoals, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway Friday morning. The vehicle then came into contact with a tree.
McCutchen, who had ties to Sparta, Tennessee, and Muscle Shoals, was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
